Welcome to Pol-Art Adelaide 2009!

Pol-Art is a triennial festival, which showcases Polish visual and performing arts from Australia and New Zealand. The 1st festival took place in Sydney in 1975 and since then the festival has been hosted by most Australian capital cities including Adelaide.

The most recent Pol-Art was held in Hobart in 2006, where Adelaide was successful in bidding for the presentation of the next Pol-Art festival, to be held over the New Year period 2009 - 2010.

Since the festivals inception, Pol-Art has grown to a scale where, in Adelaide, over 500 artists and performers will participate and festival events will attract large audiences from the local community, interstate and abroad.

Pol-Art Adelaide 2009 will take place between the 27th of December 2009 and the 6th of January 2010. Come join us as a visitor or as a participant, either way have the time of your life!
